BrightCore

brigthcore

The whole system has five main components:
BrightNode - data acquisition server
BrightCore – Unified Control Network which is a peer to peer network infrastructure between nodes
FSSA - Facility server service applications (HMI, Alarm logging & notification system, Trends, Appliance server) (Java)
Overwatch - client for management of information which could work over internet/intranet (Java)
ASF - Appliance server framework for connecting to other IT services as well various vertical applications (java)

All solution components reside at BrightTalk – this Innovative protocol solutions allows seamless interconnection between buildings and applications services in peer to peer manner BrightTalk - is responsible for event driven interconnection between network nodes. Currently BrightTalk supports C++ as well Java environment.

Available clients are for alarm management, HMI presentation, Trending, energy management and energy costing for data center operations. At the level of smart devices framework supports monitoring and control systems, sensors, metering systems, and embedded controls on packaged equipment systems. The BrightCore system is basically a network of two types of nodes which communicate via the BrightTalk protocol (UCNP) on the UDP-IP layer:

  1. Adapters, or Data Acquisition Servers gather data from their control nets and cache it locally
  2. Clients connect to the Adapters and read the data, or send network write requests

The number of Adapters and Clients is unlimited. This concept makes the system modular, enabling us to build completely custom structures with pre-built blocks. It also makes the system scalable, so structures can range from very small (small warehouse or smart apartment) to very large (office building or industry campus).
